BBC British Education and Training Technology (BETT) Show

What do you give the client who has everything? The BBC entrusted us with the unveiling of a new learning service. Our job was to help them steal the show with a stand that was inviting, fresh, fascinating, alive with technology, but very friendly to use.

The main objective of the stand was to demonstrate:

  • The BBC’s commitment to education

  • Continuing spirit of innovation

  • Collaboration with preferred suppliers

  • And to offer everyone – teachers, government and the industry a sneak preview of BBC JAM before official launch

Our Responsibilities Included:

  • Designing stand concepts, building and managing a 99m2 exhibition stand. The tone achieved was open, creative and stand alone, fun and approachable. Supported by projected screens, show reels and live demonstrations

  • Organising and installing live internet and telephone points, supplying pc’s & plasma screens

  • Supplying lighting & projection

  • Fitting lockable storage areas and a reception desk

  • Creating a live presentation area with back projection screen

  • Making sure everything was friendly for wheelchair users

  • Ordering furniture and water coolers for the stand

  • Providing full technical support throughout the show

  • Supplying onsite staff to support the BBC and manage the replenishment of the stand including replenishing the many promotional items that were available

We created a real centrepiece, open and welcoming to visitors on all four sides. We used colour, lighting, the newest technologies and live demonstrations to unleash the BBC brand and leave no doubt that the BBC are leaders in education.
